-
Turn the Gas Supply Valve to On

Fireplace Flue
The fireplace flue must be open whenever the fire is lit. If it is not, dangerous carbon monoxide levels will build up in the room. To conserve energy the fireplace flue should be closed when fire is not in use.
Push the flue lever bar inside the front part of the fireplace up to open the flue.
Pull the flue lever bar down to close the flue.

Gas Supply Valve
The gas supply value for this fireplace is located on the wall to the right of the fireplace.
Turning this value on will not allow gas to flow to the fireplace unless the Pilot is lit.
To light the fire, turn the gas supply valve key completely counterclockwise to turn the gas on. Then follow instructions for Pilot and Lighting Fire.
Once you have finished using the fireplace for your visit, turn the gas supply valve key completely clockwise to turn the gas off.

The Pilot light in this fireplace must be lit for at least 20 seconds before gas will flow to the fire.
To light the Pilot and fire:
-
Push and hold the black knob marked Pilot in towards the back of the fireplace.
-
With a long lighter, light the Pilot which is under the right side of the fake logs in the fireplace.
-
Once Pilot has burned for 20+ seconds, release the Pilot knob and turn it counterclockwise to the “On” position.
-
Adjust the fire to desired level using the black knob.
To turn the fire off, turn black knob to “Off” position. Pilot light will stay on until Gas Supply Valve is turned off.
